A fixed price construction contract will be awarded to construct 7 septic systems on existing homesites on the Northern Cheyenne Indian Reservation in Lame Deer, MT. The septic systems will not be constructed until each homeowner follows through with his/her agreement to construct a house foundation or bring a trailer on site. The listed sites represent applicants who have pledged to have their home on site as quickly as possible following the completion of a water well completed by the Indian Health Service (IHS). It is possible that site substitutions may occur. The contractor will be notified each time two sites are ready. Occasionally there may be only site ready for service. In the event that after one year not all of the sites are ready for service, the contract may be terminated at the convenience of the Government. The contractor shall comply with OSHA regulations regarding construction safety as published in the Dept of Labor, "Safety and Health Regulations for Construction (29 CFR 1910 and 1926). The range of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. This project is set aside to 51% Indian-owned businesses pursuant to the Buy-Indian Act (25 USC 47).
