This modification to the Block Modification Upgrade Program (BMUP) contract (N00019-98-C-0013) will complete X-windows integration, establish a problem reporting communications link and remove obsolete wiring in the validation aircraft. X-Windows was developed as a Pre-Planned Product Improvement designed to enhance the workload sharing capability between the operator stations on the P-3C aircraft. This modification will upgrade 22 kits of BMUP installation equipment procured in FY99 and FY00 to the hardware configuration that supports X-Windows. The period of performance for this effort will be from FY00 to FY02. The Government intends to issue a sole source modification to LMTDS, Eagan, MN for this procurement. See Numbered Note 22.
