20 -- RE-MANUFACTURING ACOUSTIC DEVICE COUNTERMEASURE (ADC) MK 2 POC A.R. Ketchum, Contracting Officer, SEA 02612, (703) 602-7707 The Naval Sea Systems Command intends to issue a sole source firm-fixed price contract to BAE Systems Incorporated, 115 Bay State Drive, Braintree, MA 02184-5203. The contract will provide for the re-manufacturing of approximately 200-300 Acoustic Device, Countermeasures (ADC) MK 2 Mod 1 devices including approximately 40 additional acoustic module kits. There will be two option years in which an estimated 300 ADC MK 2 Mod 1 devices per year may be re-manufactured. Additionally, engineering services and technical data will also be included in this contract. As producer of ADC MK 2 Mod 1 devices, BAE possesses the corporate knowledge, data, personnel, facilities, and unique test capabilities to perform the work and satisfy the low production delivery requirements. No other source has the technical qualifications and necessary resources to perform the work described herein, nor will any other supplies or services satisfy the Navy's requirement.
