The Corps of Engineers has a need for a contract for Fabrication and Delivery of new electro-hydraulic miter gate actuator units and electro-hydraulic emptying/filling valve actuator units. Actuators shall be self-contained packaged units which generally include a hydraulic cylinder, associated hydraulic tubing, and an electro-hydraulic pump package. Equipment furnished under this solicitation shall be the standard products of a manufacturer regularly engaged in the manufacture of the equipment, and shall essentially duplicate items that have been in satisfactory use for at least 5 years prior to bid opening. The period of performance will be 365 calendar days. The plans and specifications will be placed on Compact Disk (CD-ROM) and will be provided free of charge. Plans and specifications will not be provided in a printed paper hard copy format. The CD's will be available approximately 14 April 2000. This procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses.
