The Defense Supply Center Philadelphia (DSCP) Medical Directorate intends to introduce a Med/Surg ECAT program that compliments our existing Dental, Laboratory (LIDS), and Optical ECAT ordering platforms. The ECAT program is a web-based multi-vendor electronic catalog (ECAT) and ordering system. The Med/Surg ECAT will provide DSCP Med/Surg customers worldwide efficient and cost effective access to a wide variety of Med/Surg items. DSCP intends to make multiple awards to multiple vendors. This procurement is unrestricted and in accordance with FAR Part 12 Commercial Item/Brand Name or Equal. Contract type shall be a firm fixed price, EPA, indefinite delivery contract. Base period: one year, with four one-year options. Total estimated dollar value is $40 Million per year cumulatively. The solicitation will remain open for one year from date of issuance and will have multiple closings. Proposals may be submitted at any time until the close of business on May 30, 2000 and the last day of each month thereafter. DSCP will hold all proposals received until the close of business, the last business day of each month. On or about the following business day, DSCP will begin evaluating the proposals received to date. For proposals received at the final solicitation closing date of April 30, 2001, DSCP will begin it's evaluations immediately. Not all awards will be made at the same time. Offerors are encouraged to submit their proposals early as those proposals received first will be evaluated first and are expected to be awarded prior to proposals recieved at a later date.
