This is a combined synposis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is (Request for Quotation) RFQ 60-00-022. Solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-03. This procurement falls within the definition of standard industrial classification code 5044. The small business size standard is 100 employees. The Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program is not applicable to this procurement. Technical specifications are: Item 01 -- Plain Paper Copying -- 6 D-size per minute, 99 multiple copies, advanced zoom function 25% to 400% reduction/enlargement, 36" wide copies, three roll automatic roll feed, sheet feed bypass, LED head, digital image processing, dual component image development, 400 dpi, 32 level grayscale, ability to copy on various copy materials including tracing paper and film (fixing temperature can be adjusted according to type and thickness of material), maximum copying width 36 inches, maximum length over 16 feet, at least 20 from one original,easy paper roll replacement, auto or manual exposure (manual gives ability to adjust) for three contrast settings should be at least 13 exposure levels, memory copying and interupt feature. Floor space usage will be evaluated. Office has limited floor space and size of copier will be taken into consideration. Item 02-1 bottle/container of developer. Item 03 -- 1 bottle/container of toner. Item 04 -Equipment moved, installed, set up and old equipment taken away. Item 05- Controller Interface and Scan to File System.
