This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. The RFQ number is N49399-00-Q-0069 using Simplified Acquistion Procedures for commercial items. This solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAR and DFARS. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with the applicable clauses and provisions. The clauses may be accessed in full text at these addresses: www.arnet.gov and www.acq.osd.mil. This is an unrestricted competitive action. Best Value Evaluation of quotations shall include: beverage base 10 points each total 50 points, dispenser with built in ice maker 25 points, dispenser with ice dispenser 15 points, past performance 10 points, and pricing 15 points. All responsible business sources may submit a quotation via fax number above which shall be considered by the agency. The Naval Submarine Base New London requests responses from qualified sources capable of providing: five gallon containers of beverage base. Installation of three (3) vendor-owned 8-valve soda dispensers on beverage line of the food service area SUBASE Galley to be equipped with an ice dispensing capability. A built-in ice maker is preferred, however machines with ice dispenser requiring replenishment are the minimum acceptable alternative. Contractor shall provide comprehensive preventive and corrective maintenance coverage seven (7) days a week 24 hours a day. Minimum acceptable on site response time shall be four (4) hours from placement of trouble call. The resultant award will be a Indefinite Delivery Type Purchase Order consisting of a base period April 15, 2000 through September 30, 2000 and an Option Year October 01, 2000 through September 30, 2001. The estimated quantity for the base year is 875 five gallon containers; 265 cola, 130 diet cola,85 root beer, 220 pepper, 175 lemon lime. The estimated quantity for the option year is 1,250; 375 cola, 185 diet cola, 125 root beer, 315 pepper, 250 lemon lime. Quotations should be based on F.O.B. Destination. Inspection and Acceptance will be at Destination. Place of Delivery is: Submarine Base Galley, building # 446 Naval Submarine Base NLON, Groton, CT. 06349. Quotation should include separate product pricing for base year and for option year.
