ability to provide Line Item #1: residential Community Corrections
Center (CCC) (halfway house) services for male and female Federal
offenders under the jurisdiction of the Federal Bureau of Prisons in
the Eau Claire and greaer northwestern Wisconsin area. Additionally,
concerns having the ability to provide Line Item #2: outpatient
Transitional Drug Abuse Treatment (TDAT) services for male and female
Federal offenders confined in community-based programs in Eau Claire
and greater northwestern Wisconsin area. A firm-fixed price
requirements type contract with a two year base period and three-one
year options is anticipated. Services for the base period are to begin
April 1, 2001 through March 31, 2003. Those interested are requested
to give written notification (including telephone number and point of
contact) to the contracting office listed in this notice. Services
required include care, custody, control accountability and treatment,
to include furnishing of subsistence and medical and dental treatment
for CCC. Estimated total number of inmate days for the base period for
CCC services are 6,570 and 4,380 inmate days for the first, second and
third option years, respectively. Drug treatment services are required
for a total of 10 inmates for the base year; with a total of 4 intake
assessments, 480 half-hour individual counseling sessions and 960
half-hour group counseling sessions. Drug treatment services for the
first, second, and third option years include a total of 2 intake
assessments, 240 half-hour individual counseling sessions, and 480
half-hour group counseling sessions. The services described shall be in
accordance with the Federal Bureau of Prison's Statements of Work for
CCC services and TDAT services. Location of the facility should be in
the Eau Claire and greater northwestern Wisconsin area. Estimated RFP
issue date is on or about April 25, 2000, estimated closing date is
