Proposals are requested by the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit = Authority (WMATA) for RFP FK0331/CLE -- Customer Service Support for = SmarTrip Program. The SmarTrip card is a fare medium currently being used = in the Metro System for rail travel and parking, which is registered to = an owner and has the capability of being replenished in value up to a = certain amount as funds are being drawn. It is anticipated to be usable = on the bus within the next several years. It is a durable replacement for = the stored value paper cards still used throughout the Metro system. The = required services would provide front-end production, fulfillment and = back-end administration of the SmarTrip Program. Experience in customer = service operations, transaction processing centers, and settlement = clearing is required.
