The contract coders, data validating and training staff must have the current credentials of a Registered Record Administrator (RRA), Accredited Record Technician (ART), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Procedural Coder (CPC) and have at least one (1) year coding experience,within the last five (5) years, in hospital and outpatient health care organizations under HCFA guidelines. In accordance with FAR Part 12, this is a commercial procurement. Base period of contract is anticipated to be approximately five (5) months from date of award with five (5) six-month option periods.
