SOL 51-SO-BC-0-00023 DUE 041000 POC Gordon Randall Contract Specialist 812-218-3351 The Bureau of the Census (BOC) intends to acquire on an other than full and open competition basis the services of Oetting & Company, Inc. of New York, NY to provide professional services in support their telephone centers under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. It is the BOC's belief that, because of Oetting's in-depth knowledge of the BOC's telephone centers as a result of previous contracts with the BOC and their expertise in the areas of call center operations and telecommunications, a competitive acquisition would require a substantial duplication of cost to the BOC's mission for census operations. Sources capable of meeting this requrement are invited to respond to this announcement be submitting information that includes their technical capabilities, pricing, and any other information which demonstrates their ability to meet this need. The information provided will only be considered if it shows clear and convincing evidence of the ability to fulfill the Government's requirement and that it is advantageous for the Governmnet to consider such sources.
