United States Agency for International Development/Zambia through the Regional Contracting Office in Gaborone, Botswana is soliciting offers from responsible entities to implement Intermediate Results 1.3 under Mission's Strategic Objective One Private Sector Results Package, which is, Improved Trade and Investment Environment. Focus will be on three main components; Reducing Barriers in trade and investment; Capacity building of public and private sector partners; and fostering linkages as described in detail in the above noted solicitation. Offerors are encouraged to provide detailed innovative implementation plans; suggested mechanisms, schedule, key indicators for measuring these results; important assumptions; and performance milestones/benchmarks for measuring progress towards achievement of the stated objectives. As a result of this solicitation, a four-year cost plus-fixed-fee completion contract will be awarded. The RFP will be issued o/a 15 days from the date of this notice.
