This a readvertisement of Solicitation 8100-05. Furnish flight services fully contractor operated and maintained consisting of one turbine engine helicopter, Bell 212/412/205A-1 or equal. Aircraft is in support of fire and resource management activities. Services will consist of retrieval of smokejumpers, transport of personnel and cargo for remote radio site maintenance, initial attack and suppression of wildland fires, and other interagency governmental work. Service is for the Bureau of Land Management, Alaska Fire Service. Contract period is 90 days beginning May 24, 2000 and ending on August 22, 2000. The term of this contract will be one year with an option to renew for an additional year. Designated base is Ft. Wainwright Alaska.
