This is a combined synopsis/Request for Quotation (RFQ) for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are solicited with this notice. A written quotation will not be issued. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-15. The Television-Audio Support Activity intends to procure the following item: Eight (8) unit; Cadco P/N 801-0819-000 Override voice; television muting; TV channels covered; 35, NTSC standard frequency channels 2 through W, frequency accuracy; video carrier +-2.5KHZ, AURAL CARRIER +/-1 .1KHZ (REF TO VID carrier); video carrier level; +25 -- +40DBMV (adjustable by rear panel control pot); aural carrier level: +15 -- +2DB below the video carrier level; slope and gain; front panel control; 600 OHM telephone line; 20 -- 500 millivolts; coax switch insertion loss: 1.5DB (maximum) trunk-in to trunk-out; 19-IN rack mountable; PWR RQMTS: 115VAC, 60HZ. FOB Destination point is DLA Premium Service Warehouse, Memphis, TN 38118. Required delivery is thirty (30) days after contract award. The Government anticipates negotiating and entering into contract on a sole source basis with Cadco and/or their authorized distributors, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b) only one source reasonably available and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Offeror's proposing other than the requested item must include specification data sheets/brochures, etc., sufficient to enable the Government to determine the capability of the offered item to meet the specifications as stated in this notice. Responses to this notice must be provided in writing.
