This request is to compile a bidder list of vendors that are capable of providing quality furniture restoration services for the U.S. House of Representatives.The House's current furniture inventory is 99 percent traditional style, wood-veneered desks and case goods. Wood finishes are dark mahogany and walnut. The House's aging inventory of desks, which were last purchased in 1977, either have been restored or refinished over the past 22 years. The contractor(s) shall be responsible for pickup and delivery of items, meeting quality control standards and ensuring timely turn-around of these items.
