OF THE DESCRIPTION FOR CORRECTIONS. This is a sources sought Synopsis
only. The purpose of this Sources Sought Synopsis is to gain knowledge
of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (HUBZONE
8(a), 8(a), HUBZONE SMALL, AND SMALL BUSINESSES) relative to SIC Code
8712 (size standard $4.0 Million average annual receipts for preceding
three fiscal years). The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Sacramento
District, is considering offering the above project to produce
reconnaissance and feasibility studies and reports. Services may
include problem identifiation, plan formulation, designs and cost
estimates. Types of projects may include hydrologic, hydraulic, and
environmental restoration studies, floodplain development, surveys and
topographic mapping, abandoned mine remediation and restoration, and
design of water resource projects for both General Investigations and
the Corps of Engineers Continuting Authorities Program. The primary
area of service for this project is the Sacramento District's civil
works area of responsibility (parts of CA, AZ, NV, UT, WY, ID, and OR).
Services may include problem indentification, plan formulation, design
and cost estimates for planning studies, and report preparation. For

(916)557-7477. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS: Interested Architect-Engineer
firms having the capabilities to perform this work are invited to
submit a completed SF 255(11/92 edition) US Government
Architect-Engineer and Related Services Questionnaire for Specific
Project for themselves to USAED, Sacramento District, ATTN: Contracting
Div-Gail Weber, 1325 J Street, Sacramento, CA 95814-2922. In block 7 of
the SF 255 provide resumes for all key team members, whether with the
prime firm or a subcontractor; list specific project experience for key
team members; and indicate the team members role on each listed
project(i.e. project manager, design engineer, etc). In block 9 of the
SF 255, responding firms must indicate the number and amount of fees
awarded on DoD (Army, Navy, and Air Force) contracts during the 12
months prior to this notice, including change orders and supplemental
agreements for the submitting office only. In block 10 of the SF 255,
provide the quality management plan and organization chart for the
proposed team. A task specific quality control plan must be prepared
and approved by the Government as a condition of contract award, but is
not required with this submission. Responses must be received by the
close of business(4:30 pm) on March 30, 2000 to be considered. Posted
