Stewart (202) 231-2825 The Virginia Contractng Activity (VACA) of Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) has a requirement for an effort entitled "Analytical System Services". The contractor shall provide computer systems support, analytical tool development, data base support, electronic publishing, modeling and simulation, computer aided missile design, computer based signature prediction, signals laboratory support and modification, digital signal processing, digital image processing, software and hardware maintenance. Also, the contractor is to provide the Missile and Space Intelligence Center (MSIC) with analytical tools for the computer assisted analysis of foreign ground-based air defense missiles, ballistic missiles, antiballistic missiles, antitank guided missiles, antisatillite and directed energy weapons as well as their associated Command, Control, Communications and Computer (C4) systems. The contractor must have a Top Secret facility clearance and Top Secret/SCI cleared personnel and SCI storage facilities at time of contract award. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC)Code for this requirement is 7373. It is anticipated that the contract will be issued as a requirements contract with a two-year base period and three one-year options. Offerors should pay close attention to the equipment list attached to the Statement of Work since maintenance of this equipment is a key element to be evaluated and proposed against. The estimated date for RFP issuance is 3 May 00 and proposals to be submitted by 6 Jun 00. The target date for award is 1 Sep 00 but no later than 1 Oct 00.
