The National Imagery and Mapping Agency is requesting responses from businesses with experience in providing armed security guard services to the Federal Government for information purposes only. The contractor shall be required to provide armed security guards (Guard II), cleared to the TOP SECRET level, with access to Sensitive Compartmented Information. The solicitation will include a phase in plan consisting of 4 line items, and one basic line item. The resultant contract will have a base year and four option years. Solicitation number NMA401-00-R-0008 is hereby issued as a Request for information prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 15. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This solicitation is unrestricted under Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7381 "Detective, Guard and Armored Car services". The Contractor shall provide all management, supervision, manpower, material, supplies and equipment (except as otherwise provided), and shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and assure effective performance of all services described herein in accordance with the terms, conditions, and other requirements of this solicitation for BUILDING 213, WASHINGTON NAVY YARD AND SATELLITE PARKING AREA, First and M Streets, SE, Washington, DC. The start date for services is 1 October 2000.
