The Government intends to negotiate and award a Sole-Source contract for solid waste collection, disposal or recovery of materials or energy from such solid wastes, and recycling of recyclable materials for the Federal Correctional Complex located within the city limits of Victorville, California. The Government intends to make this sole source award to Sanitary and Recycling Services. City Sanitary and Recycling is the exclusive right, privilege and franchisee as granted by City of Victorville Chapter 6.36 of the Victorville Municipal Code, and is known as the "Solid Waste Garbage Regulations". This is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The contract will be for a base year with four option years. The anticipated date of award is October 1,2000.
