Provide Educational Services for the Soldier Development Program at Fort Bragg, North Carolina for the period 1 November 2000 through 30 September 2001 (plus 2 one-year option periods). The Soldier Development program provides academic instruction in job-related skills and leader skill enhancement courses to assist in unit readiness, cross training and support readiness and training beyond the fundamental level. Contractor is to provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, supplies and other items and services necessary for two specific programs: Functional Academic Skills Training (FAST) program and the Leader Skill Enhancement Course (LSEC) program. LSEC consists of : Automated Inventory Control (ULLS for Operators and ULLs for Supervisors) (120 hours each); Effective Writing, Counseling Skills and Human Relations, Supervision and Management, Keyboarding I and II, Computer Literacy, Microsoft Word 97, Microsoft Excel 97, Microsoft Access 97, Microsoft PowerPoint 97, Windows 97 (120 Hours); and Facilitator Training Course (30 Hours). Contractors are required to be accredited by one of the following nationally recognized institutions: American Association (Assn) of Bible Colleges; Assn of Independent Schools and Colleges; Middle States Assn of Colleges and Schools; New England Assn of Schools and Colleges; North Central Assn of Colleges and Schools; Northwest Assn of Schools and Colleges; Southern Assn of Colleges and Schools; or Western Assn of Schools and Colleges. For determining business size on this project, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 8299 / $5.0 million.
