Seeks to identify responsible potential sources and obtain information for contractor to provide training and to facilitate strategic planning. OBJECTIVE: Services required are to provide initial training and facilitate the process of strategic planning and create a written draft of specific short and long term goals and objectives. Also to create Metrics and timelines to achieve prescribed individual Goals and Objectives to seven 305th Logistics Group (LG) squadrons individually. After the completion of the initial written drafts the government requires the contractor to facilitate the 305 Logistics Group strategic planning off-site training and to create a written 305th Logistics Group Strategic Plan that combines all seven squadrons into one group focus/plan. Proposed requirement: Schedule meetings with squadrons leadership on or about Apr 12-24, 2000, with initial drafts completed on or about Apr 29, 2000; Schedule off-site on or about May 7-9, 2000 with final Strategic Plan completed on or about May 16, 2000. The LG will provide the offsite facilities to support 14-member offsite training. Meet with each of LG squadrons and develop core short and long term objectives for each Squadron. Goals need to be tied into core mission responsibilites. Develop metrics to track short and long term objectives. Develop squadron specific plans to meet their short and long term objectives. The plan must specifically address each objective and specifically address actions that will be taken to meet the objectives. Meet with LG to develop LG short/long term objectives, metrics and a plan to reach objectives. At a minimum these must be accomplished prior to the offsite. Facilitate an offsite of the key LG leadership to finalize squadron/LG strategic plans (short/long term objectives, metrics, plans to achieve objectives) and to integrate squadron plans into a group plan. Overall objective of this contract is to provide the LG with focus. PROCESS: This request is only to gather information from interested parties and is an essential step in determining market interest. In order to miminize the costs both to the potentially interested parties and the government, this notice is issued to determine market interest and feasibility as well as determining marketing strategies. Interested parties should provide a statement of interest on company letterhead. Statement of interest shall include company's capability, experience and business size. In addition, contractors shall include a statement that Central Contractor Registration (CCR) has been accomplished.
