The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for a Contractor to build a new 10,650 GSF Adminstrative Office Building Addition to the existing administrative building at the Gulf Ecology Division, 1 Sabine Island Drive, Gulf Breeze, Florida. Work shall consist of a one-story office building with a covered connection to the existing administration building. The project incorporates a structural steel and wood frame, spread foundation, reinforced concrete slab-on-grade, an asphalt shingle roof, fiber cement lap siding, solar water heating system, water source heat pumps, sprinkler system, and landscaping. A firm-fixed-price contract is contemplated. The anticipated contract performance period is 365 calendar days after receipt of notice to proceed. The estimated price range is between $1,000,000 and $1,500,000. The solicitation will be issued on or about 5/01/00. There will be no charge for solicitation documents.
