The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has a requirement for construction of a Research Administration and Support Addition at its Mid-Continent Ecology Division Laboratory, 6201 Congdon Boulevard, Dulu= th, MN. This 16,305 square foot addition will include administrative offices, l= ibrary, computer lab, clerical/reception area, a flexible conference area, and = lobby. The addition will require some demolition of the existing concrete buil= ding and will attach directly to the existing building. Materials comprising th= e exterior of the addition will include brick masonry, metal siding, stee= l framed glazing system, and steel sun shading devices. The roof will be compri= sed of an adhered EPDM roofing system. A firm-fixed-price contract with a 14-mont= h performance period is contemplated.
