Work is located in Carter and Prairie Counties, Montana. The contractor will furnish an estimated quantity of 2529 3-wire rods, 901 4-wire rods, 10 barbed wire end panels (type 1), 46 barbed wire stress panels, 40 3-post corner panels, 1 5-post corner panel, 28 barbed wire gates (4 wire). Contractor will have 139 days to complete the project after the notice to proceed is issued. This solicitation is a Request for Quotation and will be awarded on a purchase order approximately May 18, 2000. All responsible sources may submit a quote which will be considered. Awards over $25,000 will require payment protection in the form of 1) Irrevocable Letter of Credit, 2) Certificate of Deposit, or 3) payment bond.
