The Army requires a firm fixed construction contract to furnish all plant, labor, materials and perform all operations required in connection with "REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING, BUILDING 1286, HUNTER ARMY AIRFIELD, GEORGIA". The work includes, but is not necessarily restricted to the following items: (1) Remove and dispose of existing compressor/chiller unit, air cooled condensers and associated refrigerant, chilled water supply and return piping as indicated; (2) Remove and dispose of existing dual temperature water pump; (3) Remove and dispose of existing air handling units 1, 2, 3 and exhaust fans as indicated; (4) Provide and install air cooled packaged chiller unit and connect to existing chiller water supply and return piping; (5) Provide and install new dual temperature water pump; (6) Provide and install air handling units and exhaust fans and connect to existing duct work as indicated; (7) Replace existing pneumatic HVAC control components wth electronic components; (8) Reconnect to existing electrical services and provide new electrical services as applicable; (9) Clean existing ductwork, diffusers, registers, grills, louvers and associated air devices; and (10) Test and balance new heating/cooling system, duct work and diffusers in accordance with specifications.
