ISSUE DATE: ON OR ABOUT MARCH 31, 2000. The Contractor shall provide
all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, transportation and
disposal necessary for the installation of a NEW sanitary sewer system,
connecting a building sewer to the sewer main located in Hanover Street
Extension. The sewer main is owned by the City of Boston Water and
Sewer Commission (BWSC). ALL WORK AND MATERIALS ARE SUBJECT TO THEIR
APPROVAL AND SHALL MEET OR EXCEED BWSC STANDARDS AND SPECIFICATIONS.
the Contractor shall be responsible to fill out a BWSC General Service
Application and PAY ALL REQUIRED INSPECTI0N FEES. The project is
located at the USCG Integrated Support Command (ISC) Boston, Ma.
(Suffolk County) SIC: 1623. Performance period is one hundred fifty
(150) calendar days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. Estimated
Cost of this project is between $25,000 -- $100,000. SOLICITATION

PM at place of issue. NOTE: THIS IS A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, RESULTS

Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program, and is unrestricted.
The following NOTICE IS PROVIDED AS INFORMATON FOR MINORITY,
WOMEN-OWNED, AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISES: The Dept of
Transportation (DOT) Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business
Utilization (OSDBU) has a program to assist minority, women-owned and
disadvantaged business enterprises to acquired short-term capital and
bonding assistance for transportation-related contracts. This is
applicable to any prime subcontract at any tier. The DOT Bonding
Assistance Program enables firms to apply for bid, payment and
performance bonds up to $1.0 million per contract. The DOT provides an
80% guaranty on the bond amount to a surety against losses. Loans are
available under the DOT Short-term Lending Program (STLP) at prime
interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The max. line
