It is the intent of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of Director (OD), Office of Extramural Research (OER) to negotiate on a sole source basis with Spaulding & Slye, 6705 Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, MD 20817 for a continuation of services for providing minor repair and maintenance of the Rockledge II building. Spaulding & Slye owns the Rockledge II building which NIH/OD/OER personnel is located on parts of the building. Based on the specifications in the lease contract, all minor repairs and alterations must be performed through the lessor, Spaulding & Slye. Spaulding & Slye whose offices are located within the Rockledge II complex which make them very familiar with the building and perform their tasks in a timely fashion. The proposed acquisition will be procured under FAR Part 13 -- Simplified Acquisitions. This notice of intent is not a Request for Quotations (RFQ), nor is an RFQ available, however, all responsible sources may submit a proposal which will be considered by the NLM. Firms interested in responding to this notice must be able to provide professional services as stated above. Responses should sufficiently demonstrate the firm's ability to meet the government's requirements. Responses are required within fifteen (15) calendar days from the publication date of this notice.
