This is a combined synopsis solicitation for a commercial item prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation HAQ001023 incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. Set aside for small businesses -- SIC 3443, Size Standard: 500. Line item as follows: Supply and deliver one (1) corrugated steel pipe arch conforming to AASHTO M36 Type II, AASHTO M 218 and AASHTO M 167. Culvert configuration is as follows: Size: 13'-1" x 8'-4" x 78' long; Type: Full Round Multi-plate Pipe Arch; Bevel: Half bevel both ends; Materials: 6"x2" corrugated, 10 gage galvanized steel; Baffles: None. Culvert shall be manufactured to within 2% of the nominal dimensions. Damaged spelter shall be repaired by cleaning to bare metal and applying 2 coats of high zinc dust content paint conforming to MIL-P-21035. Bolts and nuts shall be galvanized 3/4" diameter bolts that are heat treated and manufactured in accordance with AASHTO M 167 and ASTM A 761 specifications. Contractor shall provide material handling equipment to load the culvert and deliver to the installation site. Required delivery is 45 days from contract award to Saleratus Creek located 3/4 of a mile on Road 18-7-31.1 from the junction of road 18-8-35, 35 miles west of Eugene, Lane County, Oregon.
