thompson.angie@epa.gov. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
requires upgrades to the Draeger Toxic Gas Detection and Alarm System
at the National Vehicle and Fuel Emissions Laboratory in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. Work will include investigating the current network to
determine existing Quadgard loops and new sensor locations, and wiring
new Quadgards and Regard back to the host computer. A new computer,
serial cards and Modbus gateway shall be furnished and installed, and
the Contractor shall create Factory Link screens for the new Quadgards,
Regard and network loops so all Draeger sensors are covered by the new
computer. Screen displays shall be modified in a number of ways. An
activity log shall be created and sorted by any parameter selected by
the operator. A two-month performance period is anticipated. The
solicitation will be issued on or about 4/17/00. This is a 100% small
business set-aside, and the small business size standard is 500
