The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the printing and manufacturing of packaging for five and ten dollar United States currency notes. The Contractor is required to provide packaging for a single, double, and twelve note portfolio/package. The packaging shall be made of sturdy material, tear resistant, non-yellowing, and acid-free polyester material to store and hold the note(s) from damage caused by routine handling and normal wear and tear, also includes insert sleeve of clear material. The thickness of the film shall range from 70 _ 75 micros and must be designed to hold the number of notes as listed. Interested firms shall submit a written request for a copy of the RFQ. Evaluation and award will be made based on the following: Conformance with the Statement of Work 50%, Stated ability to meet required delivery dates 20%, Past performance 20%, overall price 10% will also be factored. Contractors quoting this RFQ shall provide a list of no less than three previous firms for whom they have provided satisfactory work performance, this list will include company name, point of contact with phone number for each, description of work accomplished. Award will be made based on the best value to the Government. This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. SIC Code 3999, with a business size of 500 employees.
