Helphrey, (415) 561-5098 The Presidio Trust, a Federal government corporation, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms to provide Parking Management Operator Services at the Presidio of San Francisco. The Presidio is a National Park and National Historic Landmark and is planned to have approximately 8,000 parking spaces. Scope of services may include but is not limited to: Reconfiguring parking lots for revenue collection; Operating residential and non-residential parking management program; Issuing parking permits; Collecting parking fees; and Providing, installing and maintaining parking control equipment. Services expected to commence Fall of 2000. Minimum qualifications include experience in the parking management field and adequate insurance coverage. Submittals will be evaluated based upon criteria set forth in the Request for Qualifications (RFQ), including but not limited to: Experience in operating all types of parking facilities and parking programs (e.g., surface lots, above- and below-grade parking structures, on-street parking, special events, shuttle bus); Experience in a special environment like the Presidio (e.g., personnel training, uniforms, sensitivity to a broad range of residents, tenants, and visitors); Experience in planning & development of parking structures; Ability to provide, install and maintain parking revenue collection equipment; On-site staff experience; Availability of resources for special events; Operation of shuttle bus services; and Financial Resources.
