MEDMODEL SIMULATION SOFTWARE AND SUPPORT SERVICES This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; QUOTES ARE BEING REQUESTED AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation number is DADA10-00-T-0111 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14. This acquisition is 100 percent set-side for Small Business, Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) is 7371 and small business size standard is $18Mil. The U.S. Army Medical Command intends to award a SOLE SOURCE firm fixed price purchase order to Promodel Corporation, 1875 S. State St., Ste 3400, Orem, UT for the MedModel Simulation Software, qty 6 ea, to include training, maintenance and support services for base and 2 option years through 30 Apr 2003. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commericial, with addenda: paragraphs (h) and (i) of this provision do not apply and change paragraph (c) from 30 calendar days, to 60 calendar days.
