The Navy intends to solicit and negotiate a contract on a sole source basis to acquire Projector Resonator Assemblies, 1700 each (minimum), from Massa Products Corp., Hingham, MA, in support of the AN/BSY-1 HF Upgrade of the Large Sail Array and the NSSN High Frequency Sail Array (HFSA). Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) 3679 applies to this procurement. The Projector Resonator Assembly consists of a bias bolt, radiating head, ceramic cylinder, nodal ring, tail washer, tail nut, and an electrode. These assemblies transmit acoustic data used by the HFSA. The items shall be manufactured in accordance with Navy and proprietary drawings. Proprietary drawings (P/N's 200445 & 200446), Level 2, will be provided by Massa Products with deliveries under this resultant contract. It is anticipated that an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity, firm-fixed-price, supply type contract covering a five-year ordering period will result. A minimum quantity of 1700 each assemblies and maximum of 8500 each shall be solicited. Final inspection and acceptance will be conducted at source by DCMC. Delivery is required FOB origin with 350 each due 120 days after contract award and 350 each due every six weeks thereafter until complete.
