It is the intent of the CECOM Acquisition Center to issue an RFP for the Production of Prophet Ground systems. Prophet Ground is a HMMWV mounted on-the-move capable Electronic Warfare (EW) system. Prophet Ground has been developed in two Blocks. Block I provides Electronic Support (ES) while Block II provides both ES and Electronic Attack (EA). Pending the outcome of upcoming tests, the production contractor may be responsible for building Block I systems initially, and retrofitting them to a Block II configuration at a later date. The production contractor will be required to build the systems to performance specifications that are based on the results of a successful IOT&E of the EMD systems. It is estimated that a total of 81 Prophet Ground Systems will be produced, with an option for 56 additional systems. A draft RFP will be available on or about 1 July 00 for downloading from the website, located at http://acbop.monmouth.army.mil. The final RFP willbe available on or about 1 September 00. No hardcopies will be provided. Electronic proposals will be due on 30 September 00. There may be a pre-proposal conference at Ft. Monmouth, NJ within 10 days after the final RFP is issued.
