NASA/GRC plans to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for VXI EQUIPMENT/ICP VOLTAGE INPUT BREAKOUT BOX 8 CHANNEL;1 SLOT VXI MODULE, 16 CHANNEL DIGITIZER AND DSP; AND OPTION UGV. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). NASA/GRC intends to purchase the items from AGILENT TECHNOLOGIES. THESE ITEMS ARE COMPATABLE TO OUR EXISING SYSTEM AND HIGHLY CRITICAL TO MEET FLIGHT TESTING SCHEDULES. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on APRIL 7, 2000. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice is solely withinthe discretion of the government.
