AFMETCAL Det 1 at Heath OH intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP) for the purchase of 20 each Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 and 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. A written quotation will NOT be issued. All requests for written quotations SHALL be disregarded. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor this site for the release of amendments (if any). This Quotation F33660-00-Q7009, is a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The Standard Industrial Classification Code is 3826 and the business size standard is 500 employees. This quotation is 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS in accordance with FAR Part 19. The quotation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-16. The Air Force Metrology and Calibration (AFMETCAL) program requires 20 each Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers as defined in the International Temperature Scale of 1990 with the standard commercial warranty and data. The device measures temperature based on resistance. Range is 183 to 660 C; accuracy is <0.001mK and is supplied with a storage container. Items offered shall be commercially available, Rosemount Engineering P/N 162 CG or equal. Items are for delivery to AFMETCAL Det 1. Delivery shall be 90 days after receipt of notice of award, with a minimum/maximum of 4-20 each every 45 calendar days and continue at the above rate until completion. The following clauses apply to this acquisition and are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, FAR 52.212-3, FAR 52.212-4 and FAR 52.212-5. All offeror's shall provide with their quotation, a copy of their commercial warranty, any descriptive literature, brochures, and/or adequate information to determine whether the or equal units will meet the terms and conditions cited above. If an or equal item is offered, technical evaluation and approval of the proposed unit by AFMETCAL will be required prior to award. Offerors of or equal items shall submit sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc., in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposed unit. Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this acquisition. The offer must: (1) be for the items described above; (2) be FOB Destination to this agency; (3) include a delivery schedule and discount/payment terms; (4) include copy of commercial price list; (5) include name of and be signed by an authorized company representative along with telephone number and facsimile number; (6) include their taxpayer identification number (TIN), CAGE Code Number and DUNS Number.
