This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. This solicitation is not set-aside. The associated standard industrial classification code is 3577 with a small business size standard of 1,000. The National Imagery and Mapping Agency (NIMA) intends to purchase, on a sole source basis, an upgrade to a DBX5000 Green Switch manufactured by Digital Voice Corporation for Secure Voice Exchange Network at NIMA Washington Navy Yard. This switch is a proprietary item and must be upgraded with Digital Voice Corporation software and hardware. Digital Voice Corporation DBX5000 Green Switch provides secure phone interface to NIMA's Secure Voice Exchage Network. Digital Voice Corporation is the manufacture of the Green Switch and the seller of this item. Delivery is expected to be 30 days FOB destination to the following location; NIMA Washington Navy Yard, Washington, D.C. The provisions at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition with no addenda. This acquisition is on a low cost technically acceptable basis. Offerors are advised to include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, with its offer.
