Hill AFB is seeking private sources to bid on a base wide PC repair of Government owned Computer equipment, by the call plus parts replacement for a basic and four option years, exercised at the discretion of the government. The contractor shall provide all personnel equipment, tools, materials, supervision and all other items and services necessary to perform maintenance on Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources. Standard industry practices related to maintenance and or servicing FIP resources will apply to the extent that they are not in conflict with the specific standards identified in the Statement of Work. The contractor shall have a key person trained in maintenance of the specific or equivalent equipment. Training must include an OEM maintenance course, or equivalent offered by another source. Evidence of personnel training will be submitted with the proposal. Contractor shall use only new original equipment manufacturer parts or refurbished OEM parts or OEM clone parts with new commercial warranty of 90 days. The contractor's maintenance personnel shall be required to maintain a current daily log of maintenance service for each call. If equipment cannot be repaired on site and therefore must be taken off site for repair, the contractor shall fill out a hand receipt, AF Form 1297 for approval by the government representative, and return within 30 days to original location.
