R -- COMMENTS REQUESTED ON DRAFT SOLICITATION FOR CORPORATE CONTRACTS The General Services Administration, Federal Supply Service's Multiple Award Schedules Program provides commercial services and products to the Federal Government on a worldwide basis. These Federal Supply Schedule programs are constantly expanding its range of services and products and streamlining processes, making it easier to shop, order, and pay. This new Federal Supply Schedule Corporate Contract Solicitation offers a single storefront for all services and products under the Schedules program. As knowledge brokers, we envision corporate contracting adding more value by reducing administrative costs, shortening lead times for both Government and industry while ensuring quality services and products. This new Federal Supply Schedule Corporate Contracting Solicitation offers both small and large businesses the opportunity to provide their entire business lines -- no more hunting for the right schedule fit-eliminating redundancy in preparing bids, publishing pricelists and reporting sales, thus reducing costs to do business. Offers may be submitted in a consolidated fashion saving time and money. From a customer perspective, corporate contracting will provide a single entryway to the commercial marketplace -- no more searching through various schedules to find needed items-and will reduce administrative work. Total solutions for customer requirements will be available, easily accessible and provide a best value, greatest overall benefit approach through the corporate contract. Customers can build multiple partnerships with small and large businesses to accomplish the multiplicity of tasks required in meeting mission requirements. You are encouraged to review the DRAFT solicitation and exhibits at www.eps.gov and provide comments and feedback on the following: 1) Clarity of the new Special Item Number (SIN) structure; 2) Commerciality and clarity of the solicitation's terms and conditions; 3) Clarity of the instructions to the offeror. Our next steps are to review comments received on the draft solicitation, make revisions where necessary, and issue a final solicitation.
