The scope of the total effort shall consist of furnishing all plant, labor materials, equipment and performing all work in strict accordance with those specifications, schedules and drawings forming parts thereof, to remove and replace existing tile, cove base, and its adhesive. The existing tile and adhesive contain asbestos and must be removed adhering to Federal, State, and local abatement regulations. A general contractor, who has experience installing and removing floor tile, shall perform the work. The SIC code is 1752 and the size standard is $7.0 Million. All work is to be accomplished in strict accordance with applicable NIMA, EPA, NFPA, and OSHA requirements. The performance period for this project is 60 days. The approximate cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Simplified Acquisition Procedures will be used and 100% of this project is set-aside for small business. The work is located at the National Imagery and Mapping Agency facilities at 3200 South Second Street, which is east of Broadway and south of Arsenal Street in the south city of St. Louis.
