The structural repair work scope includes welding existing vertical x-braces to existing gusset plates; welding new cover plates with reinforcing stiffeners to existing columns and braces; welding existing cooling tower base frame to existing cooling tower support frame. The architectural work scope includes demolition and replacement of gypsum board wall sheathing and finishes, and wall mounted accessories in areas affected by structural repair work; removal and replacement of suspended ceiling and accessories in areas affected by structural repair work. The work shall be performed in four (4) phases per schedule set by NASA. The order of magnitude for the procurement is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 and the effort shall be completed within 183 calendar days after notice to proceed. The SIC Code and small business size standard for this procurement are 1542 and $17.0M respectively. The ANTICIPATEDRELEASE date of the IFB/RFO is on or about April 14, 2000, with an ANTICIPATED CLOSING date of on or about May 15, 2000.
