The engines are installed for main propulsion on the U.S. Coast Guard's 141' WTCG and 378' WHEC class vessels. Delivery to be made to U.S. Coast Guard Engineering Logistics Center, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. A requirements type contract for a base year and four (4) option years is anticipated. It has been determined in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, that only Coltec Industries, Fairbanks Morse Engine Division can provide the parts. Technical data and/or drawings pertaining to the various engine parts is not available within the Government and are proprietary to the Original Equipment Manufacturer, Coltec Industries, Fairbanks Morse Engine DIvision. Negotiations will be conducted solely with Coltec Industries, Fiarbanks Morse Engine Division.
