Postal Service is seeking suppliers to install structured wire plant in the Detroit District Office at 1401 W. Fort Street and the MPE. Installation will consist of I/O Category 5 and jacks, Horizontal Patch Panel Ports for Voice and Data, Patch Cords, Category 3 Voice Riser and Fiber Optic Backbone, not all inclusive. Approximate date solicitation will be issued is April 14, 2000. Preproposal conference in late April or early May. There will be a charge of $25.00 for each solicitation package with drawings. All checks or money orders are to be drawn to "USPS Dispursing Officer." Suppliers must have been in cabling business for a minimum of five (5) years to receive a solicitation package.
