COMMERCIAL ACTIVITY A-76 STUDY FOR: AMBULANCE SERVICES, SOLICITATION

210-221-3716. (SITE CODE: DADA10) Non-Personal Ambulance Services at
Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital (BJACH), Fort Polk, Louisiana. The
contractor shall furnish all personnel, labor, uniforms, training,
materials, equipment, supervision and other items or services (except
as specified as Government Furnished) required to manage and provide
ground emergency ambulance services, emergency room support functions,
and routine patient services on a 24-hour per day basis. This service
shall be provided in accordance with Louisiana State Laws, Federal
Laws, Army Regulations and the terms of this contract. The contractor's
personnel shall provide emergency room support functions as outlined in
Technical Exhibit 8, and in the area outlined in Technical Exhibit 9,
when not on an ambulance run. The solicitationwill be issued on or
about 28 Apr 00. The closing date will be established in the
solicitation package. The base period of performance is anticipated to
be from 01 Oct 2000 through 30 Sep 2001 with four one-year options.
Only written or faxed requests (210-221-5402) will be accepted. The
request, as a minimum shall contain contractor's name, address, phone
number, point of contact and size status. This requirement is issued
using full and open competition. NOTE: The work is currently being
performed by Government employees undergoing an A-76 Commercial
Activities Study. The Federal Government will also submit a bid for the
services on this solicitation. Once the apparent successful offeror
(most advantageous)has been identified, that proposal will be compared
to the government's bid and a cost comparison made IAW DA PAM 5-20, AR
