and Human Services, Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services
Administration (SAMHSA), Center for Mental Health Services (CMHS) plans
to award a sole source simplified acquisition to Mothers Against Drunk
Driving (MADD). The purpose of this acquisition is to provide an
in-depth review of secondary information to identify current/previous
strategies targeted at youth to prevent alcohol use as well as any
assessments/evaluations that have been done to determine the
effectiveness of such strategies, and provide a final report which will
synthesize findings into recommendations for creating effective
messages to prevent youth from using alcohol or engaging in at-risk
behaviors. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for
which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one
source under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested persons may identify
their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit
proposals. No solicitation will be issued. Responses to this notice
will be used solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct
