procurement is non-restrictive and will be a Full and Open Competition.
The procurement is to assist the Department in a broad range of
subjects from an international perspective in order to enable HUD to
respond to requests from abroad, integrate an international dimension
into its analyses and research efforts, and develop and deepen
meaningful, mutually beneficial partnerships and exchanges with housing
and urban development stakeholders in other countries. Overall, this
contract will greatly enahnce the ability of the Department to fully
integrate lessons from abroad into its program planning. The Government
anticipates award of an Indefinite Quantity Contract (IQC). Task orders
issued under this IQC will require the contractor to organize seminars
and conferences, and to conduct studies. The period of performance
will be five (5) years. The Government anticipates multiple awards. The
Request For Proposal release date will be on or about April 25, 2000.
