The Division of Acquisition Management has a requirement for the Office of Communications and External Liaison (OCEL), CSAT, SAMHSA, to provide Radio Tours for the National Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month, the Roll Out of the National Treatment Plan, and the Drug Use, HIV and Hepatitis: Bringing It All Together Conference. Radio Tours with the national and local media outlets throughout the United States, predominately in 16 community forum cities will be coordinated. The Radio Tours will take place in the months of May and September 2000. The Government knows of only one source, North American Network, Inc., Bethesda, Maryland. This proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b). Interested persons may identify, in writing, their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received with in 15 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
