Imagery and Mapping College (NIMC) is headquartered at Fort Belvoir VA,
with campus education centers located in Bethesda, MD; Fort Belvoir,
VA; St Louis MO and Arnold, MO; and Washington Navy Yard, Washington,
D.C. The college has four departments and one support office: the
Defense Mapping School (DMS), the National Imagery and Analysis School
(NIAS), the School of Leadership Development and Professional Studies
(SLPS), the Technology and Training Development Center (TTDC) and the
Training Management and Plans (TMP) Office. Through these departments,
NIMC provides National Imagery and Mapping Agency Employees with
mission essential technical skills training and individual career based
education. NIMC also provides external training to global customers
mandated by the Department of Defense and Joint Chiefs of Staff. NIMC
develops and delivers technical and systems training in partnership
with NIMA customers, establishes outreach programs, promotes training
standards and leads the imagery and geo-spatial information training
community. NIMA trains service-members and government civilians in the
areas of Geospatial information and services, geodetic survey, terrain
analysis, photolithography, imagery tasking and management and imagery
analysis. The objective of this procurement is to consolidate most of
NIMC's existing training and support services into a single contract
vehicle that will meet the current and future needs of the college and
will augment the current government staff. The Contractor shall
provide Program Management, Training Services, Curriculum Development,
and Educational Plans and Program Support in support of NIMC. The
following factors shall be used to evaluate offers in descending order
of importance: 1) Technical, 2) Management, 3) Security (on a
pass/fail basis), and 4) Cost. Award of a Cost Plus Award Fee -- Level
of Effort contract is anticipated. The projected contract period of
performance is one base year with four option years. The Formal RFP and
related documents are posted on the Internet and can be accessed via
the Acquisition Center of Excellence (ACE). NIMC will use the Internet
as its primary source for contract information. The web site is
