The project consists of maintenance dredging approximately 1,500,000
cubic meters per dredging cycle from the entrance channel and sand
traps of Channel Islands Harbor and 150,000 cubic meters from the
approach and entrance channels of Port Hueneme Harbor. The required
dredging for Channel Islands Harbor will be accomplished in three (3)
dredging cycles, every two (2) year dredging operations at project
depth of 6.1 m (MLLW) at the main channel and 10.7 m (MLLW) at the sand
trap areas. The required dredging for Port Hueneme will be accomplished
once at the same schedule of the third cycle dredging of Channel
Islands Harbor at project depth of 12.2 m (MLLW) at the approach
channel and 11.0 m (MLLW) at the entrance channel. The Standard
Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1629, Dredging and Surface
Cleanup Activities, $13.5M average annual gross revenue for the last
three (3) fiscal years. The estimated cost range of this project is
over $10,000,000. The project will provide plans and specs using CD-Rom
only; hard copies will not be available. The CD-Rom will be available
on or about April 19, 2000 at no charge. Because a limited number of
CD-Roms will be reproduced, copies are limited to one CD-Rom per firm.

an offer. All interested contractors are reminded that the successful
contractor will be expected to place subcontracts to the maximum
