RIA SN: 3W2937100X15, HQ, Industrial Operations Command intends to award a contract to A-L-L Equipment Company for the purchase of 23 each Air Compressors with Receivers, in accordance with Rock Island Arsenal drawings RIA149321, RIA148851 and RIA149183, for the Forward Repair System. Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Service Will Satisfy Agency Requirements, the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source for a Firm Fixed Price contract. Only Air compressors with receivers with the following minimum characteristics are acceptable: Description: Air Compressor, 50 AFCM, 175 PSI, two stage, baseplate mounted, Ingeroll Rand model #7100X15, air compressor shall be supplied with 15 HP TEFC motor, 3 phase, rated for 208-230/460 V at 60 HZ and 190/380 V at 50 HZ, Nema 4 starter, Start up kit with T30 select synthetic lube, crankcase heater and thermostat kit, Ingersoll-Rand #32228199, inlet filter with a rating of 10-micron maximum, inlet filter cover constructed from steel, air compressor shall have a discharge air temperature to within 25 degrees Fahrenheit (13.9 Celsius) at ambient air temperature, air compressor shall provide an over pressurization relief valve, a low oil level cutoff switch, Ingersoll Rand #32201527, a air cooled aftercooler. Pump heads and interconnecting piping shall be painted using finish 24.5 of MIL-STD-171, color 686 Tan, color chip 33446 of FED-STD-595. aftercooler coil, intercooler coil and belt grooves of pulleys shall be left unpainted, the remainder of compressor and tank shall be painted IAW MIL-C-53072 using finish 20.24 of MIL-STD-171, color 688A TAN, color chip 33446 of FED-STD-595. Overall width of compressor with motor and all above components installed to be 25.75" MAX. Air receiver, 24" diameter, 80 gallons, 200 PSI, Sylvan Industries #82-24-80-200.
